Rating: - One of My All-Time Favorites!
Back in the '70s, my mother had this on cassette. Every Saturday, we would listen to it while cleaning house. I loved the gospel songs and I loved Nikki Giovanni's poems. A few years ago, my mother loaned her cassette to someone and never got it back. I was so excited to find it again! There is a richness and an authenticity to the singing and to Ms. Giovanni's writing. I would say this is a must-have!
