John Digweed leaves off were Renaissance 1 ended. This collection, though long out of print really exemplifies why I got into this music in the first place. The mixing is spectacular and here in 2003 some of the songs sound outdated. Rating: - Master Composers of an Electronic Music Movement
This album line is amazing. If you missed out on R1, you're screwed. I haven't heard anything as imaginative, new, or breathtaking as this collection of music, in a long time. You ever not really get music, then suddenly you find an entire collection of stuff that makes you smack your head and go, "Oh, I TOTALLY understand."

Understandably most people think that all electronica sounds the same, but the collection is more challenging that your average tweeker music.

John Digweed is back at it with his Renaissance 2 album. A continous groove of sound and trip-hop, Digweed masterfully combines each song and knows how to fit them together like a jigsaw puzzle. If u have or haven't heard of Digweed, this is a must album for anybody who likes to get the dance groove on.
