German film Run Lola Run has been compared to a 70-minute rock video: nonstop action and music, and (for better or worse) not a whole lot of plot. But the premise works, as does the film's high-energy techno soundtrack. Most of the tunes on this disc are credited to the trio of Tykwer/Klimek/Heil--the threesome of film director Tom Tykwer, techno producer John Klimek, and Rynhold Heil (best known as the producer of German pop import 99 Luftballons by Nena). Included are several remixes of the movie's main themes, the bass-heavy "Rock Me" by Pills, and "Wish," featuring the vocals of Franka Potente (Lola herself). There are a ton of soundtracks that have employed dance music, but few work as successfully as Run Lola Run. If you have watched the wonderful movie of RUN LOLA RUN ("LOLA RENNT" in German), this CD will bring back happy memories of the hypnotic pace and movie soundtrack.
However, if you have not seen the movie, I believe this CD may puzzle or disappoint, because you would not making the vital connections between the movie action and the tunes.

Rating: - I am unhappy with the quality of this CD
This is a first for me. I bought this CD cheap, but when it came the tracks just wouldn't read. I have to skip tracks forever and then one will kick in for a while. There is nothing wrong with my player, just this seller. I didn't try to get another due to the price I paid, but maybe I will now. This is one of my favorite movies/soundtracks of all time. It is an introduction to the knowledge one will store exponentially from life experience, as long as they live.

This is without a doubt a great soundtrack for getting you off your feet and getting you moving. It makes you want to be in as great shape as Lola was in the movie!

Rating: - Remix Overload
If you liked Run Lola Run the movie and lets face it, who doesn't, then you should like this soundtrack too, well at least half of it that is.
For a pure music CD there are just too many remixes. However if getting hold of the the three or four awesome tracks that are heard during the movie is a must, then the CD is still worth it.

Non-Stop Energy! The koolest sound track from the koolest foreign language film I have ever seen and HEARD. The music just moves me!
I think it is fantastic and I love it.
