I've only heard one track from this CD...the Meditations from Thais. I've never particularly liked the piece, only having heard it with violins. To me, they sound rather like cat yowling on the back fence.

But I heard this single track on beethoven.com, and now I'm ordering the entire CD. Can't wait to hear what other new sounds she's made with old standards!

Out of my many classical CD's - this is among my favorites as it covers a broad range of "real classics"! Julianne is a talented musician and has blended together a delightful collection of familiar classic pieces. The solo piano provides an easy to listen to CD for a dinner party, relaxation, writing, or just pure enjoyment of the music - think "Moonlight" for soft, subtle and beautiful music!

Listening to this CD is very soothing. I own many piano discs, and this ranks high among them. Many gems from the classical repertoire are included in this lengthy, polished recording.
