Editorial Review:

Album Description:
Full title 'Unfortunately We're Not Robots'. 2002 release blending together a wide array of influences from each individual member, varying from Neurosis, Saves The Day & Black Flag. The end result is a fervent and engaging piece of work, which should serve as a breath of fresh air in the stagnant and insipid pool of metal-core hybrid bands. 15 tracks.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - meh
it's ok.......but these guys got waaaaaay better on all future releases. the sound here is more technical, which i generally like, but something just doesn't do it for me for this cd. the vocals are borderline terrible too. i mean, matt always screams so hard you can't tell what the hell is saying, but his vocals became much more powerful and refined on releases after this one. his later lyrics are much more powerfull as well. overall, i recommend getting the newest album or the 2 ep's before ... Before artsy "thinking man's" hardcore got popular, Curl Up and Die where playing high brow charged music that many fakers try to imitate. This is chaotic, relentless music with an artistic ting, it makes you realize that this is indeed... awesome! But as the time listening to this record ... Read More

I like this album more than I like pink lemonade. OHHHH YEAHHHHH!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Robots Should Live
Robots are our friends. That is the message that I take away from this CD. I was hoping for more hypnotic sounds and less rah rah shah shah. but hey....i still danced and it does help enhance a big bowl of cereal.

AREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DEEEEEEEEAD! Yes I just typed the first 4 songs! This is a VERY experimental and very incredible technical metalcore band and some people think the vocals are too repetitive but well if it ain't broke why fix it? You should get this if you are a fan of bands like converge, DEP, bleeding through, botch, older cave in, and bands like that or even if you don't like those bands buy this album anyway, it is FENOMENAL!(in espanol)
