Rating: - A wonderful way to spend an hour without leaving your house.
This is truly a delightful cd. The cd description tells the listener that Eda Zari wanted to portray a number of different styles. This is a big challenge for one cd and in my opinion often fails. Eda Zari actually succeeds at this and the result is a wonderful hour of music with a gifted singer. I hope to hear more of Eda Zari.

This CD is brilliant. If you're not familiar with Albanian folk, this would be a great introduction, and if you already are a fan, even better. This album combines many elements of Albanian folk including clarinet, Albanian traditional instruments and some Albanian polyphony of the legendary musicians of "Family Lela De Permet" with jazz piano, drums, contrabass, darbouka percussion, etc. All this accompanies the beautiful voice of Eda Zari (some backup singers too).
