An awesome band that is sure to revolutionize music in all its forms and be the band to rip off in twenty years just as bands are ripping off Led Zep and Nirvana now. With intellectuals instead of sexist consumers for band members, Strangelight brings new dignity to the world of music along with a talent all their own. If you're at first dismayed by the sound, wait five minutes and then try again with a more open mind and you're sure to be hooked.

I enjoyed this cd very much. I happen to have met one of the band members before at a gay club I go to often and he gave me some wonderful insight into the making of the album, which made me appreciate it even more. They are very original in how they put it all together, which I find to be very good. I like Strangelight like I like the moon at night.

This band is amazing. The influences are noticeable, but ultimately, this band has a very unique flavor. I have diverse tastes in music, however, some music really sticks out.
The music on "Lux" is powerful. The guitarist is unbelieveable. Truely, the songs would not be so overwhelming without the vocalists melodies pulling the rhythm and background together.
For an idea of what style of music this is I will tell you the other bands that enjoy the same status in my CD rotation;
Coldplay

Lux, the debut album from Strangelight is a blend of crunching guitar and atmosphere pop with influences such as U2, Radiohead, The Doors and PearlJam
