Darien believes his name is the embodiment of his purpose in life and is the essence of the music he creates. Darien 's sound is a reflection of both the past and present. His music speaks of life, love, faith and so much more.

Soon after linking up with a few college buddies aka Little Brother, Darien (aka D-Brock) spiraled into whats been an amazing journey so far. Darien caught the ear of a growing fan base via the interenet with the release of the nine-track EP The Feeling. The process similar in ways to Little Brother's: The Listening, has in fact tansformed Darien from local artist, to global artist.


Darien has had the privilege of working with a host of talented artists, including gospel great William Becton, hip hop legend Pete Rock (Soul Survivor II), Jaheim, and of course his extensive work with the Hall of Justus family. Darien's three track apperance on Little Brothers sophomore LP, The Minstrel Show, Phonte & Nicolay's Foreign Exchange project, Connected, and Big Pooh's solo-debut Sleepers has encouraged his growth as an artist. Darien's accomplishments all but include his own solo-debut.


Drawing from a wealth of musical influences, Darien intends to take the R&B world by storm with his debut album, "Somebody To Love" (which will be released on 10-03-06). Co-Executive produced by Little Brother's Phonte Coleman; "Somebody To Love" finds Darien ready to become the worlds next R&B sensation. Get ready!!!
